Cycle Zone Mooloolaba hires bicycles on the following terms:

Travel Insurance:
it is the responsibility of clients to hold their own travel insurance policy to cover personal medical care in case of accident, loss due to cancellation, and any third party liability that may arise from the use of the hire bike by clients. No coverage is available from Cycle Zone Mooloolaba to insure clients from loss, damage, or theft or other liability incurred in the use of the hire bicycle.

Status of Rental Bicycle:
Cycle Zone Mooloolaba confirms that an experienced bike mechanic, prior to renting, reviews each hire bike. Each rental bike is prepped for client for rental and supplied in properly operating status, and ready to ride

Obligations of Clients: It’s the Clients responsibility to:

• Operate the hire bike is a manner appropriate to prevailing road and weather conditions
• Wear a helmet
• Know the relevant rules of the road and practice safe cycling
• Know how to operate a multispeed bike

Theft of and Damage to Rental Bikes:
Cycle Zone Mooloolaba will quote any damages/theft for repair/replacement and this amount will be charge to the client, and or the clients Travel Insurance policy.

Waiver:
Hirer acknowledge and agrees that Cycle Zone Moooloolaba maintains no control over the operation of the rental bike by client, Cycle Zone Mooloolaba assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, third party liability or loss, accident or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reasons of

• Any wrongful, negligent or accidental acts or omissions on the part of the Client or the Client’s agents
• Any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used by the Client
• Any wrongful or negligent act or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise of Cycle Zone Mooloolaba
